Glencoe Street, Sutherland, NSW

Like many existing land parcels in the Sutherland Shire, the project site had a single small house on a massive 1,350m2of land.  The proposal incorporates 6 new two-storey townhouses on basement parking. Given that the site is relatively narrow, the design intent from the start was to make the development look like a single large house from the street.  We think the final outcome meets this criterion.

 

The dwellings behind the street façade all afford excellent north facing living rooms & outdoor spaces and encapsulate atarchitecture’s core design principle of maximising light & air.
